The second day of Children’s Mental Health Week focussed on ‘learning’, with a specific focus on learning about keeping safe online.
This year’s focus was on how to stay safe from online scams. All classes, from P1-P7, participated in very engaging discussions. All were very aware of the need to stay safe and recognise scams.
It is very important that parents and all trusted adults are aware of the access their children have online and what they are exposed to.
With this in mind, online safety expert, Wayne Denner, will be hosting a workshop in St John’s, Dromore, on 27th February. We would love to see you there! It is sure to give you great advice on how to ensure your child’s safety online.
