Ditch the Dark Day.
Last week we held our first ever ‘Ditch the Dark Day’! It’s safe to say we were definitely bright and could certainly be seen! After meeting at Ecclesville Forest, everyone made the journey to school by walking, cycling or scooting.
Once at school, Amy, from Sustrans, discussed the importance of being safe when we are walking, cycling or scooting and how we can stay safe. Prizes were also awarded during assembly for ‘brightest outfits’, not forgetting the staff prize for Mrs Anderson!
P1/2 and P3/4 later completed a wonderful art activity based on what Amy had said.
